Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-10
This privacy policy explains what data Let's Go Eat collects, how we use it, and how to exercise your rights under UK GDPR.
Who we are
Let's Go Eat is a trading style of We Serve You Limited (registered in England & Wales, company number 12466647; registered office 33 Prospect House, Featherstall Road South, Oldham, OL9 6HT). For privacy matters, contact [email protected].
What we collect (Wave 0 — waitlist only)
While we are in waitlist mode, we collect:
- From restaurants: business name, contact name, email, phone (optional), city, postcode area, cuisine, estimated monthly orders, current delivery platform.
- From food creators: first and last name, email, city, postcode area, social handles (TikTok / Instagram / YouTube / other), follower range, content style.
- Technical: IP address, user agent, and timestamp of submission. We retain these for spam protection and abuse investigation only.
Why we collect it
- To contact you when Let's Go Eat launches in your city (legitimate interest, with your explicit opt-in via the waitlist form).
- To validate the demand for the product before launch.
- To detect and prevent spam submissions.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with infrastructure providers strictly necessary to operate the service (hosting, transactional email). We do not use advertising trackers, third-party analytics that profile users, or social-media pixels.
How long we keep it
Waitlist submissions are retained until 30 days after Let's Go Eat publicly launches in your city, after which we either (a) migrate your record into the live product if you opt in at launch, or (b) delete it. You can request earlier deletion at any time.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Request deletion ("right to be forgotten").
- Object to processing or withdraw consent.
- Lodge a complaint with the ICO (ico.org.uk).
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.
Cookies
During Wave 0 we use only strictly-necessary cookies (session and CSRF). No tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. No cookie banner is required for strictly-necessary cookies under UK PECR.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy as the product evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
